The Update: How To Avoid A Brow Disaster

Without a doubt fuller brows have been the ultimate style goal for 2018, big thanks to our girl Cara D! This look might be easily achieved for some but if you have a victim of the previous over-plucking or are bored of waiting weeks for regrowth – don’t fret we’ve got brow tips that will help you navigate brow styles and get those brows back on fleek!

Over Filling?

Is it an end of an era? Filling in eyebrows has become a stand out trend. While over plucking was all the rage in the 90s, many are combatting this fad by overfilling their lost brows with paints and powders.  Let’s reign it in for a sec,  we’re not saying brow filling is a complete no-go but first try a product free solution. Simply using a brow brush and brushing the hairs up in their natural direction will make them look instantly fuller and more natural.

You grow girl!

Natural brows are all the rage these days, so why not embrace your brows and watch them spring to life. If you’re feeling impatient, give our Peppermint Brow Remedy a try to speed up the regrowth: our all-natural brow oil contains peppermint oil to stimulate the hair follicle and promote new growth, with avocado, coconut and argan oils to nurture the hair follicles and look after new growth.

Tint & Tone!

Tinting your brows may be the best solution to a more fuller look. The colour picks up all the baby hairs and will give you a consistent tone and shine. You can even just tint the ends of your brow to give the illusion of longer brows. Don’t be afraid to get creative!

…And finally Shape!

While high arched brows are still a defining extension of a confident woman (yes, we’re looking at you, Amal Clooney), a noticeable trend of The Boy Brow is also one of our favourites. With the likes of Kendall Jenner rocking this flat brow, We’re not surprised it’s becoming a common trend. Why not try this beauty trick; keeping your brow completely flat with only a slight incline and decline of the tail. Minimal use of makeup is key, only using a clear gel or wax for the upkeep of these low maintenance beauties. And don’t forget to top up with peppermint remedy to keep your brow growth healthy and strong.

Hold on a sec… What about colour?

Blonde:

For the fair-haired among us, darkening your brows will instantly frame the face. It can be a bit tricky to find the right shade, so try lighter tones and gradually go darker to avoid a bad-bold brow!

Bleached:

The almost non-existent brows have made their way onto the runways, and while we celebrate experimentation, BEWARE! Models sporting such a daring decision often have extreme bone structures to match. While they are definitely edgy, don’t feel like you have to go to extremes to push your brow limits, you may regret it and stick to natural remedies – strong chemicals can lead to irreversible damage

Brunette:

Brunett brows are naturally darker than your hair, so roll with it. If you’re wanting a softer look try a slightly lighter shade in the arch. Otherwise go a shade darker, lifting all those light tones and creating a striking style

Red Heads:

Our fiery redheaded ladies often have fair brows. Challenge yourself to match your hair to your natural hues, bringing out those coppers tones. As always, aim a shade darker than your natural hair for a warmer, natural look.
