Bearded Theory is a music festival held in the wonderful grounds of Catton Hall in Derbyshire National Forest. Taking place every May, it has won the Best Small Festival Award in 2013.
However, as Alchemy adores all things relates to the art world, Bearded Theory is extra special as it is the largest performing art event in the Midlands. The festival started out as a birthday party behind a pub, but has flourished into a three day party that is full of music and great for all the family.
The festival has a variety of tastes to suit everyone. From Indie, Britpop and Alternative acts, to staple successes of the British guitar tradition, Bearded Theory’s main stage promises a fun packed four days.
As well as enjoying great music, each year Bearded Theory tries to set a new record of people wearing fancy dress. Our favourite part however, is that this festival encourages people to try on a fake beard.
Alchemy adores beards, all sizes and colours.
