Taking time out of your day for yourself is crucial for our overall happiness. It’s all about the bigger picture. A friend recently told me to write a list of day-to-day activities that make you happy and stick it on your fridge. When we feel out of sorts it’s often because we’ve got lost in our jobs, our families and friends, and the things we ‘need’ to get done. Taking the time for small pleasures, such as half an hour for a hair oiling and manicure, is important to our overall happiness. If you’re feeling stressed, look at your ‘fridge list’ and see which of these things you haven’t done in a while.
